Incompetent Cervix Awareness Day
Each year 1 in 100 pregnancies experience was it called an Incompetent Cervix or Cervical Insufficiency. Women are blindsided when they receive their diagnosis because there is simply not enough awareness, resources, or support. That’s why Incompetent Cervix Awareness (a support group on Facebook, featuring more than 8000 members) is partnering with ICAWARE.org to create Incompetent Awareness Day on March 4th. This is a day for women around the world to not have to think. A day they can take a break from being constant warriors for the cause and know that the conversation is being started.
